Greetings! This is Webmaster Ann, the oldies soul behind the site. (I also have an online writing portfolio.) I'm a 30something fan of many music genres--not just classic R&B/soul music, but also show tunes, jazz, and others. As a preteen, I studied violin for one year and piano for eight. But I'm a much better listener than player! I adore Motown songs because they fuse spontaneous creativity with painstaking focus. A working-class spirit with high-class elegance. Giddy fun with serious passion. I just want to celebrate a music that gives me such simple bliss. I hope this website revives some of that pleasure for you, too.
